What were you involved in in HS? The reason i ask, i was going through the boxes of stuff i got from my mom's attic when i moved into my house, seeing what could be thrown away and how i could downsize (i have no storage in this house!!) and I came across all sorts of medals and plaques I forgot about.
I was really involved in FFA and Cross Country, and i have so many "achievement" awards for academic studies. I was such an overachiever! xD
Did you get awards for anything? Or was there anything you were particularly involved in?

Just honor roll about half of the time. I didn't play any sports or anything. I think I was too busy chasing boys! I kinda miss those days! Good times!

It'll be 20 years for me this year since I graduated HS. That alone is hard to believe. I wasn't into sports much, way too much of a klutz. I worked outside of school from early age to help my family out, plus volunteer at a library, church stuff, things like that. I was a fairly quiet geeky girl and with 3 brothers (bigger brothers) I didn't date much either. They still like to tease me about how they kept the guys away from me. Brats.

Mostly the honor roll, and stuff related to my arts classes. I was a total art room geek. But junior and senior year I did SADD and worked for the school literary magazine. I still have a copy--SO FULL of terrible teenage artwork and poetry! It's hilarious!

I was a geeky honor roll student, in national honor society and on a tv quiz show. I was in the band a couple years too. I took a bunch of AP classes (7 total) and got the equivalent of a full year of college credit from them. But it paid off, I got a full scholarship to college. Too bad I didn't keep up my grades there and lost it after 2 years. I think I had to maintain a 3.5 to keep it, which I couldn't do with my science classes. Knowing what I do now, about how I have never used that major, I wish I would have changed to something easier and kept my full scholarship!

I planned the prom and my senior trip. I played Volleyball and Basketball but I never liked it. I graduated with 30 kids in my class so there wasn't a whole lot to do if you weren't involved.
I worked in a restaurant my junior and senior year so I wan't around much

I did basketball and track and a few different community service groups. I was in National Honor Society and Foreign Language national honor society. I was a major, giant geekasaurus!

I spent a good part of my latter highschool time at my BF's highschool (BF at the time). I was and still am quite opposed to cliques so I was more of a floater. I chatted with people from every group. I was painfully shy and had a very very quite voice. I was in music. Ran until high school when I became intimidated by bullying sports people. Funny though when I talk to people about the individuals who were so horrible and learn that they were just horrible people and I took things way to personally. I organized our grad party/prom with others. Still not sure how I got into that. I joined various groups here and there...did amnesty and environmental stuff for a bit. I didn't live near the school and was bused in until I got a car so that made things different since my near by friends went to different schools due to the gifted thing. That also identified me to people who liked to make cliques. I have fear already that G will get sucked into the cliques. Blah.

I was mostly honor roll, but didn't do anything formal. I won a couple awards for some math contests though. I was in a music group, but that wasn't actually through my high school, it was a regional thing.
Mostly what I remember from highschool is my depression hitting hard right around grade 11.... lots of anxiety, panic attacks, etc. I don't remember much of actual school. :/

There! I forgot about that stuff. I did do a little more than chasing boys! I was always involved in the dance planning committees and I also did the senior trip planning. Planned the whole trip and then realized that too many bit**y girls decided to go, so we ended up planning and going on our own! We had far more fun in Hawaii without them!! Ha...I'm sitting here with the biggest grin on my face thinking back to that trip! SOOOOO much fun!!!

Wow, a lot of you were smart, good students. My freshman year I joined Dance Guard... which really was a color guard, but my school liked to trick people into it making it sound cooler than it was. I met some of my best friends from there, but I quit. I'm not sure why. I kind of wish I didn't. I was good at it and was going to be captain as a Sophmore, which was kind of unheard of.
I got average grades because I just didn't care. I didn't see the point, when I knew you could go to community college and transfer to a University without taking the SATs or transferring your HS grades. I never took the SATs.
After I quit dance guard I started ballet and dance out side of school. And starting dating a guy several years older than me, so that is where most of my attention was. My senior year we broke up and I really started branching out into other social groups. Then I started dating Kaily's dad and wound up pregnant two weeks after I lost my virginity. Kind of tainted the last couple months of HS and graduation. I didn't tell my parents until the end of the summer. Oops.
