What diaper bags have you used over your kiddo's life? Which ones were your favorites and why? Are you still using the same one or have you switched to something else?

Since I'm coming up on round #2 I am looking at a new diaper bag. I definitely found out with Kate that a cute small one was not going to cut it for the cloth diapers. I also found out I like tote style, not messenger style, so I can quickly dig through my stuff.

I have this one... Amazon.com: Gap Brown Bella Tunno Diaper Bag: Explore similar items

Its pretty big. I bought it before she was born and its the one we still use. Lots of room for diapers, clothes and sippy cups. This one I ordered from gap but I dont think you can get them anymore unless you can find a used one or maybe one on ebay. Bella Tunno has some beautiful ones but they can get pricey.

I started with this bag and used it for a year or so

I didn't like that it didn't zip shut at top, so stuff could fall out. It also was a bit small.

As a mother's day gift to myself last year I got a Vera Bradley Baby Bag and I love it.

It holds a good amount of stuff, zips shut, easy to carry, etc.

The only "plus" of my first was was it had extra straps to hook to each side of the stroller handle, so it would hang on my stroller, rather than need to be in the basket. My travel system stroller is the one I shop with and it has a huge basket so it's not a big deal having the diaper bag down there though. Oh and DH is less inclined to carry the purple floral bag but he doesn't really ever take Juliet anywhere himself for an extended time he'd need a diaper bag for. He has a diaper/wipe/changing pad thing in his car.

I have the JuJu Be BFF model. It's a backpack style but also comes with a shoulder strap and it has stroller clips. It holds a good amount and I find the backpack style easier when I'm chasing Ellie. I don't know that it's going to big enough to hold everything I need for two kids, but I'm going to give it a try before buying another.

If I could remember the brand of my diaper bag I'd post a pic. It's big and I keep it packed all the time. I bought it specifically for the cloth diaper issue. It has a zillion inside pockets too which are really handy as well as two outer pockets where I can stick my phone, keys, etc. I like a bag big enough for diapers, changing equipment, and an extra outfit ++

I'm using that one but in a diffrent pattern. I've had so many diffrent ones in the past 21 months. But the one above is what I'm using now. I find with the 2 kids I don't want big and bulky. We use spoosies when we are out so I just have 3 diapers for each kid, a travel pack of wipes, ziplock with meds, a pacifier for each kid, a couple toys, a sippy, a bottle, formula sticks, and sunglasses for each kid. I also have a 31 zipper bag with my stuff in it in there. While I wish the center did zip it works for me. And at that I usually leave it in the car anyways.

I love ALL of my Ju Ju Be bags! lol I have 5 different bags. All for different purposes My fav bag right now is the JJB BeHip. It's very lightweight, washes easily, has just enough organization, great bag.

I have only had 3 diaper bags, ever! I bought one before I had the twins, then I very quickly found out that it was WAAAAAAY too small. Twins require a large bag! I got rid of that and bought one from Pottery Barn Kids that I absolutely loved to death. It also had the option to use the backpack straps, which sounded really cool, but I never used them. And the shoulder strap had an awesome gel like pad which was super comfy, especially when I had that thing full and heavy! It was the only diaper bag I used, and I used it for about 3 years, everyday, until it finally started looking a little worn. Then of course they discontinued it so I couldn't buy another!

I used that PBK bag for a while after Mason was born, then got a Skip Hop Dash bag and it's OK. I definitely don't love it. The flap closure drives me insane. When I'm chasing Mason it constantly goes flying off my shoulder and stuff falls out. It has a magnetic closure but it doesn't really work unless you have it lined up just perfectly. And I HATE the changing pad. It's nearly impossible to get that thing back in the bag neatly without a baby, but screw it if you've got a baby in one arm and you're trying to put it back one handed! Ok...so maybe I do hate this bag! Lol.

I want a new one, but I haven't really started looking....until now. I like those Ju Ju Be bags! I LOVE the zippered closures. Where is the changing pad on them though? Is it easy to put back without it being a balled up mess? After needing a big one for the twins, I have a hard time going smaller now!

LOL I feel like such a bum, I just use a regular old backpack. Hands-free was necessary for me since I'm on foot all the time. I got it from Asos.

Yep, me too...all about hands freea nd these days, I want less to carry, so i have just have a small Tumi one strap messenger style (I think that's what its called - the strap goes diagonal across the front of me and pouch is on my back). It has a inside zipper pocket, zipper closure for the bag and a flap with a zippered pouch too. Inside is big enough for diapers, water jug, snack cup and a few other things like lotion, powder, hand sanitizer. Thankfully, he's a seriously low maintenance kid =)

But I'm also looking at new bags because we are WTTC until the Spring and i want a new one! I had a nice carters bag...did its job, no major complaints. Had enough pockets and space for everything. This time around I want a more designer looking bag...like a big purse/tote style. My fav brands so far are OiOi & Timi and Leslie.

Amazon.com: OiOi Baby Leatherette Tote, Black: Baby

Amazon.com: timi & leslie Annette Convertible Diaper Bag, Pewter: Baby

Betsy, this is a link from the website where I bought my Ju Ju Be diaper bag. They have some videos of someone packing the different model bags with baby stuff so you can see how much will fit. I have the BFF model.

I looked at those videos last night (which are awesome) but I still can't find where the changing pad goes! Where does yours go? Is it just inside the main part of the bag? I think I'm totally anal because that just grosses me out having a nasty changing pad in the main compartment! My two most used diaper bags have both had a separate pocket on the back for the changing pad.

I love the Be Prepared bag. I like my bags enormous! With Mason's stuff plus the "Mom, can you carry this", I use every ounce of space I have! And I love, love, love that handle on top PLUS the shoulder strap. It just seems like a very practical bag. Some of those prints though....YUCK!

I was thinking that I shouldn't spend that much money on a nice diaper bag since Mason is almost 2, but then people were saying how they use it for a swim bag, or over night bag, etc. I think I'd still get a good amount of use out of it while the kids are little.

I've decided I want this bag:
Amazon.com: Skip Hop Studio Diaper Tote Bag - Champagne: Baby

Though I can't decide if I want the Pewter Dot or the Champagne. And I'm hemming and hawing if I really should spend that much money on a new diaper bag that I'm not 100% I'll love when I do have a large bag I can use. Questions, questions.

My first bag was a SkipHop of some sort, and I hated it - it was so small and it didn't open far so I could never find anything. I now have the Petunia PickleBottom boxy backpack and I love it. I still use it constantly, and am still a fan of it

Funny I was just coming to post this link for Betsy.
I think if I get another one and have some $ at the time it would be a Petunia P. too.

Erin I have that same one! And also have the same complaint. Stuff falls out of it ALL THE TIME especially in the car when it rolls around/tips over.

I'm kind of sick of it and thinking of getting a new one. Lately I've just been stuffing his diaps etc. into my Vera Bradley purse.

Found this seller on Etsy today...... check out the change 'n go 2.
Unique Hip Gifts for Women and Kids by DillyBaby on Etsy
I ordered one. That way I can keep Kate's stuff in my purse or in the big diaper bag with the baby's stuff, and I don't have to mess around. I also ordered a small snack bag to put all of her little things in: the crayons, forks, spoons, whatever else little thing I have of hers. So it doesn't get lost in my purse.
