My 2 year old ( 24 months) has been day trained for about 2 months now. We do very good during the day....i honestly cant remember the last pee accident, its been over a month. We wear real underwear all day, and i pretty much only ask her once an hour to go, sometimes longer if we are playing outside. and she is JUST starting to tell us if she has to go....most of the time when she realizes she has to go, she runs to the bathroom herself. We did have one poop accident last week, but i think she just didnt realize how fast it was going to come out, and by the time she realized it, it was too late.

My problems come at night. i am not trying to night train her, i just planned on letting that happen when she was ready. However, the last week or so, she has started back up with taking her diaper off at night and naptimes and throwing them out of the crib and then putting her clothes back on. And then peeing herself when she falls asleep.

I also thought i would mention that the ONLY time she doesnt go pee pee on the potty is when she wears a diaper or pull up ( i used to put pull ups on her when we would go to stores, now she knows how to hold it) but if she falls asleep in the car, she has an accident then too. So i try to limit when she wears a diaper and pull up, to strictly nap and bedtime, so that she doesnt think its ok to pee wherever she wants.

Are there any good underwear to wear overnight? Becuase it doesnt matter if she just went pee, she always pees in her diaper, its like she just thinks its ok. So i was thinking that maybe if she had real-type underwear overnight, she might 1: keep her undies on and 2: maybe start to pee less, at least before she falls asleep.
Im not really looking to potty train overnight. im just trying to prevent her from peeing in her crib after she takes her diaper off. Not to mention, its a pain in the butt to get her diaper on her, she would much rather wear real underwear.

Any advice would be great.....and any advice on how to get her to tell me MORE that she has to pee, instead of me asking/telling her all the time to go.

Well she is still rather young, actually. So, she might have more accidents then most becuase her bladder is still growing. As she gets a bit older she'll learn to tell you. But keep working with her, and she'll get used to it. The poops are harder to catch, so don't worry about that right now.

As for the night time issues, you might be able to try something like this on her. It's cotton and absorbent, so she might do well with this. It appears that these are snaps, so she might not be able to take it off as easily.

Hope this helps a little bit.
