Well my baby boy is finally out of diapers!!!!! Its has been over month since I have bought any diapers and besides really helping us pocket book wise it is just so nice not having to wipe the poopie off the booty LOL!
He just turned 3 1/2 and I am just so proud of him ...Yes I'm Bragging
What finally made him train was we were broke and just did not have any money to buy pull ups and he was forced to use the potty....At night i used a emergency cloth diaper so stuffed he couldnt walk which he didnt like ..so again he didnt like the new set up so he decided he better use the potty
Anyways just wanted to share

That's great! Congrats! If you could give more details about what you did in the day and night to get him completed that would probably help many moms! What kind of cloth diaper...one where he would feel wet or not?

Hi
Sure I will share....During the day i put him on some gerper traing pants (get at walmart for about $7) I put in one of my cloth diaper soakers at first just to be safe..
I just told him that he had to pee in the potty because we couldnt buy any more diapers...
when he pee pee or poo poo ,i just clapped and said yay! made him feel really good about himself...
If he had a accident i made him take a complete bath (which w/boys you know they dont have time for so he wasnt happy with taking a bath alllllll day)
It didnt take long at all for him to get the day down..
For night time i used a cloth diaper...the 1st night we woke soaked (i co-sleep) my son wasnt happy with the middle of the night bath...
after this i made sure he didnt drink anything an hour before bed and made him pee be fore we went to sleep...
I noticed he quit wetting after that...after a week of no wetting i took off the cloth diaper (we used thirsties with alot of inserts) to just those gerper undies
