My daughter is 3 and will sit on the potty. She will not go. We have tried putting big girl undies on and she just pees thous. She is quite a talker and understands a ton. She was born at 28 weeks so really she should not be 3 until Christmas. Should I just give her more time? I think she is just being stubborn. Any ideas appreciated.
Have you tried timing when she has to go. I know that helps some moms. With Rachel I kept taking her every 1/2 hour untill she got that she should pee in the potty. I keep books by the potty for her to "read" while going potty and we Celebrate Every time she goes Potty. Good luck.
Something that really worked for me was putting shar on the potty, leaving the room, and closing the door and within minutes she would pee. Stickers only worked so well, eventually she lost interest in them.
