DD used to love the novelty of the potty. We were on track 3-5 times a day, even catching most poops. This was at 19 months.

Fast Forward to 22 months.

We're lucky if she sits on the potty more than once a day for more than 15 seconds. She has pooped in it ONCE in the last 2 weeks... What's changed?

I can't help but wonder if it is just that DH and I have lost interest - or if she has?

Is it common for kiddos to just stop the process, maybe cause they aren't ready? I originally wanted to go diaper free.. but never thought she was "old" enough, then thought meh- why bother?!?!

Any insight on my dribble?

Sounds like you all lost interest
If you had kept on it, she would have too.
No worries she will get it again soon.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking too. Though I've been better about it the last couple of days and she doesn't want to sit for more than a minute. Hmm..

Rachel went through a phase where she would not go potty because the pullups/diapers kept her dry. She had no incentive to go. I noticed this and took away the pullups and we got padded training underwear so we wouldn't have puddles everywhere but she would feel that she was wet. Right now she goes at home but will not go in public and my 18 month old is finding setting on the potty a game because that is when she gets me all to herself.

We use cloth, so dryness isn't an issue. I've decided that it's just that I'm not dedicated enough at the moment. I need to get better at it!

I can't imagine the nightmare that pottying in public is going to be! Eeek.
