So Evann has been going to the potty every hour, but wouldn't actually GO in the potty. Well, Tim told her that if she went an entire day without messing her pants, he would get her a pillow pet. (Which she has been wanting for quite some time now) Of course now we can't get her to stop sitting on the potty
She went pee twice in the potty the other day, but only wet herself once, and pooped herself once. This is such a HUGE improvement! Especially since the last time she went pee in the potty, she actually said "I need to pee!" We're so proud of her. She also told grandma that she needed to go, but didn't make it in time. I still count that as sucess
Everytime she goes into the potty, she says "I want a pillow pet." I love it, she actually gets the concept that if she goes in the potty, she'll get her prize.
It's just such a huge relief to know that she finally gets it. Now, it's just a matter of making sure she gets there in time.
Do any of your kiddos have a special toy that they really want? Maybe that would be good motivation.
