Conventional wisdom claims girls are easier to potty train than boys. Do you believe this?

I don't know... Jarom was pretty easy so I would think that contradicts that but I also have never experienced training a girl.

I've only PT'ed two kids but the boy was way easier, and 6 months younger at the time as well.

Hmmm, I have trained 3 boys and 1 girl so far. My girl trained a little earlier but really once they were ready they were all pretty equal in terms of ease. I think it's become easier with each child, regardless of gender.

Wasn't true for us! Girl #1 was about 20 months and fairly easy to train. Boy #1 was around 3 and difficult. Girl #2 Thought she'd never potty train!! Finally at 3yrs 5m she caught on. Boy #2 was 2.5 years. He just one day decided he was a big boy and didn't wear diapers anymore and that was it.

My 2 little ones were trained within 6 months of each other.
