My son, who will be 4 in a couple of weeks, is pretty much potty trained. The only thing that holds him back is his constipation. He was doing quite well at asking to go to the potty for "#2", but a couple of weeks ago he had a painful movement, and after that had a lot of problems in his pants because he didn't want to be hurt. We tried taking out dairy products from his diet, and he seemed to be better for a short while, but now we're back to day 3 or 4 without a BM, so I'm worried the next one will hurt.
Anyone else have this problem? We tried upping the fibre and fruit, and like I said, it seemed to help for a bit, but he's now back to his old ways.
