My daughter has been potty trained for just about a year now, she is almost 3. The last week or so she has been wetting her panties some. It's not a full blown accident just dampening them, I know she wipes properly so I am wondering what is causing this? My first thought is a uti or something that is making it so she isnt feeling the first part of her urge or something? Any ideas?

Big time thanks to jmmysterymaker for my WONDERFUL siggie!

It could be that she is still learning of her bladder filling up and maybe sometimes it may be to full that it just doesn't have the muscle strength to hold it so it kinda leaks out .

Does she try to run to the potty when she feels a bit wet ? What is she doing when this happens ?

When it happens she hides it or changes her panties on her own... she tells me she can't help it her body just does it... It has only been the past 2 weeks and she has been potty trained for a year, so I am a bit baffled. I took her to the Doc they had no advice and tested her and all was clean.

Big time thanks to jmmysterymaker for my WONDERFUL siggie!

Sounds like a UTI. DD gets them occassionally and the standard test at the Dr's office NEVER catches them. We have them send them out to a lab and sure enough, they come back positive. Maybe get your pedi to do a more comprehensive test? And use first morning urine, much as with a pregnancy test, since it is the most concentrated. I do this with DD by getting a sterile cup from the Drs, bringint it home and using it the next morning.
In the meantime, push cranberry juice, it coats the lining of the bladder and helps keep the bacteria that cause UTI from sticking. If she doesn't like it plain, try one of the ocean spray blends. Pretty yummy.
I can usually tell when DD has one b/c her urine gets a nasty smell to it, almost like an electrical fire smell. Hard to explain, but definitely smells off.
