Hello.

My third child was like that. My other two figured out the potty training by the time they were three, but he just didn't seem to care. I tended to try to take a more laid back approach and just let it take a bit more time, just suggesting from time to time, and trying every once in awhile.

My memory is terrible lately so I couldn't tell you the specifics of how it happened, but for him, he was four before he was fully trained. But then once he was trained, no accidents, day or night. The other two had accidents from time to time and weren't dry at night until they were about 7 or 8.

So all I can suggest is to try to not stress out about it (difficult though it may be), and just try every once in awhile. Eventually he'll want to go.

With my kids I've always said it takes 4 months for me to consider myself DONE, so that would be really frustrating not getting anywhere in 4 months.

Are you trying EVERY day or are you backing off some days?
