So, my son is potty trained... well nearly. The last hurtle I have to get over with him is his peeing on his floor at nap time and bed time. During the day he will pee on the toilet just fine. When he's been put down for a nap or to go to bed at night, he won't leave his room to pee. He will just step off his bed and pee where he stands.. I'm losing my mind! And he has no problem coming out of his room to ask for things or play in the hallway. I've tried putting a potty in his room and he won't touch it. I have tried to get him to sit on it and he will not. I live in an apartment and cannot tear out the carpet. I've just had his carpet cleaned today, but I am concerned about permanent damage as I cannot afford to get his carpet cleaned very often.. not to mention the health risk of him sleeping in there. I've banned him from his room during the day. It is now strickly for sleeping in. I don't know what I can do to keep him from peeing on his floor. Any ideas, anyone? Or any ideas on how I can protect the floor?
