Ok, this is my first pregnancy, I'm a bit new at knowing what to expect. For the past ten weeks or so (I'm about 16 weeks preg), I've had almost no energy whatsoever. I get really faint and feel like I'm dehydrated a lot. I used to be able to walk everywhere I went before I got pregnant (living in a small town seems almost pointless to me to drive everywhere). I thought I was in decent shape. I know I'm to expect a bit less energy than normal, but I couldn't even get out and walk half a block before I felt like I was going to pass out! Even making dinner seems a chore now.
So here comes the weirder part. Yesterday in the evening sometime, I had this huge burst of energy. I was able to go outside and walk and jog a bit all I wanted. I had the same amount of energy as I did before I got preg. This burst of energy seemed to just come out of no where. Is this normal? Or has this happened to anyone else?

I am in my first pregnancy, too, and i was not ready for the no energy feeling! It sounds like you are getting into your 2nd trimester, which I LOVED!!!! I had great energy and was starting to have a little bump. I'm starting into my third trimester now (almost 28 weeks) and have been feeling tired, dizzy, etc. Not horrible, but I do miss my energy! Good luck w/ your pregnancy and hopefully you will have a good 2nd trimester!
