I did not cry, but I did laugh
I am not sure why... I guess I was just so excited to hear it! Me and DH bought our own doppler and we heard it for the first time together in our apartment. He asked me while I was laughing and I couldn't stop! For some reason I guess I found the sound funny. I laugh when the baby kicks sometimes too. Oh well, I guess laughing means I am happy

I cry every time I hear the heartbeat, but the first time required tissues.

I don't think I cried with Dalton or with this baby, but I know the tears were close by!

No I didn't cry. I use a fetoscope for heartbeat and usually I'm too busy counting the beats (habit!). But I do get teary eyed seeing babe on ultrasound. I only get one at 20 weeks.

I teared up, but didn't let them roll down my cheeks

I teared up. And the u/s tech just laughed and told my bf to just expect the tears to continue regularly!

I mean it put a living aspect to a scary concept. I cried at the 20 week u/s also. Seeing all her moving parts and watching some move was unreal and showed her as a real personality!
