So this is my first pregnancy, I am 31 weeks today and I know that during pregnancy that you have discharge and mine seems to be cloudy but that isnt what I need help with...
I went potty and after wiping I always check just to be on the safe side of not miscarrying or anything like that.... So I noticed that there was a glob kinda like snot and it was between a clear and a clear yellowish(kinda)greenish... I know that you lose you Mucus plug before going into labor. I know that sometimes you dont go into labor right away...
I am just a little worried that I might have lost my mucus plug but I am not sure cause this is my first pregnancy and I dont think so but I would like some help...
I tried asking my mother and sister but they both have had C-Sections so they dont really know....

HELP HELP HELP HELP!!!!

You can lose your mucous plug throughout pregnancy. It will "grow" back. You can lose a little at a time, or you can lose a lot. The loss of a mucous plug really isn't an indicator when you'll go into labor. Also, what you lost might not even be your plug, it might just be cervical mucous. I had globs like that with both my pregnancies as well, it was just excess mucous from all the hormones. I wouldn't worry. If you start having what you think are contractions then drink a full glass of water and lay on your left side, it will help circulate things and can help stop the contractions.

Pregnancy can be really gross sometimes, unfortunately you're in one of those times!

Totally agree what is all said as in there is alot of mucus plug so you could lose some throughout your pregnancy and you could just be having alot of regular vaginal discharge .

Also with the mucus plug, it is also used interchangeably with bloody show. So it would be mucus with some form of blood tinged discharge. Your body begins preparing for labor about a month ahead of schedule, and even DTD can loosen up things in there... Sorry TMI but kinda needed lol
