I am going to my first and most likey all of my ob/gyn appointments alone. I am three weeks pregnant and the father lives five hours away. My first appointment is in a few days and I need to email him a list of questions to answer so I can ensure my baby gets the best prenatal care. This is my first child and I have no idea how to be prepared for the visit!

They will just ask about family medical history...like if he or anyone in family has diabetes and so on.

I got a packet of questions that we had to fill out before our first appointment. So hopefully you will get something similar so you know what they need to know. They usually ask the standard family history questions and questions about previous pregnancies. I think they even ask if the father has other children and if they have any health problems. Good luck and congratulations on your pregnancy.
