About a week ago, I experienced what I believed to be implantation bleeding. It only lasted about a day and a half and wasn't very heavy. I have had a headache since last Friday, and also since then have experienced some daily nausea, but luckily no vomiting. Yesterday evening I had some spotting, but it wasn't very heavy and seemed to be over by the time I went to bed. When I woke up this morning it was like I was having my period but it is lighter than what a normal period for me would be. I also have had cramps on and off all day, but not as bad as period cramping. Also this morning and a few times throughout the day I was pretty nauseous, which normally doesn't happen when I am having my period.
I took a pregnancy test yesterday, but it was negative. Today, though, is when I was supposed to have my period. Has anyone else experienced this? This is (possibly) my first pregnancy, so I'm new to all this!
I would wait 3-4 (or longer) days and test again if your period doesn't show completely. Either way, make sure you're drinking enough water. Dehydration can cause headaches. You may have had a longer or wacky cycle this time. You can also call your doc's office and talk to a nurse and see what they say. Hope everything works out ok for you.
I agree that I would wait a couple days and test again. If you still aren't getting a period and are getting negative tests I would call the dr just to get a check up. Any number of things can throw your cycle off. Are you trying to get pregnant? Good luck. Hopefully you will know one way or the other in a day or two.
