I am trying to determine if/when you had morning sickness when did it start to the extent that you were throwing up?? I have had nausea from time to time but I have not actually thrown up yet. I just want to prepare myself since I do work full time... I know that it is different for everyone so I am just curious to get a general idea. Thanks!!

Around 10 wks with my son I just had a little bit nausea with a couple of throw ups which I was glad because I was fearing throw ups would mean bad news as with my first pregnancy which I lost I had severe throw ups starting right @ 6 wks.

I never had any naseau before the throwing up stage. It just hit all of the sudden at 6 1/2 weeks. I was actually thrilled to be sick, because I was the opposite of the poster above. I had no morning sickness when I lost my first at 8 weeks, so I figured the m/s was a good sign.

I only started to vomit around week 10 - it was terrible for about 3 weeks then I got a week off. Then something flipped a switch and I'm still sick (16 weeks 4 days). I have nausea a lot but only throw up about 3 days per week, several times in those 3 days. Some of the stuff that helped before doesn't help now and stuff that didn't help before helps now. The best advice I got was from my OB - eat what sounds good and will stay down.

They say every pregnancy is different and every person is different. Good luck! I hope you don't get sick.
