Hi Ladies! I am currently 4 weeks and 5 days pregnant. I had my progesterone levels checked a week before I found out I was pregnant, and the day after I found out I was pregnant. They said my levels were good and that they didn't need to test it again.
I had an aunt who kept miscarrying because of low progesterone levels so I am nervous about this. If they said my progesterone levels were good, can they drop or should they stay high if they were originally.
I'm not sure on that as usually what I see is that women usually have low levels to start out with and family history can be different within pregnancies and if your still worried about it after a couple weeks re ask your doctor to check your levels and share your fears with him/her.
I had my progesterone levels checked last Monday and again last Thursday and it dropped from 9 to 8. They put me on progesterone suppositories, but still really worried. I'm 6 wks 2 days. I had my first ultrasound on Friday and there was a heartbeat!
My 1st pregnancy at 3 wks they were 31 and now at 5 wks they were 18, I haven't been retested yet but my first one dropped from 31 to 3 in 2 days.. They have me on supossitories this time, hoping it is helping, I'm 7 wks today according to the internet. Kinda freaked out at the moment cause my boobs aren't quite as sore today. :/ trying to stay cool though and not stress.
I am 5w 2d and I went to the dr 2 days ago because I had some spotting. This is my 2nd pregnancy, but the first ended very early 2 months ago, so I was extra worried. I had my progesterone checked and it was 100 ng/ml and they said that was low. They put me on progesterone pills and said if it doesn't double in 2-3 days, then I'll have a mc. I'm going to another dr on Monday for a second opinion. Your progesterone levels this early should be lower right? I'm just confused and scared; does anyone have information on what the levels should be?
