Hi, I'm new here but i'm worried and not sure what to do and i hate going to doctors unless there is a definite need so please any advice would be great. Here's my story:
I have 3 children. I have had 1 miscarriage. My miscarriage happened on 12-12-11 at 7 weeks pregnant (baby stopped growing at 6w1d). I bled lightly for 5-6 days after my mc. I had my levels tested and they were less than 16 hcg 2 weeks after mc and had all neg preg test. I had a normal medium to heavy flow 7 day period that started on 1-21-12. I also started my bc pills loestrin on the 1-22-12 (the doctor said to start the pills on the sunday during or after my period so i did). On Feb 5th i had what appeared to be a shorter lighter period that lasted about 4 days. I missed over 6 of my white pills ( i wasn't able to take them at the same time due to working different hours and not being able to take them at the same time and forgetting etc) and the dark ones on the last line i didn't take any of those. I've taken numerous tests and they've all been neg. i still have not had any sign of a period since the feb 5th incident. What's going on with me?

I went through some "period" issues this summer and was told - rather rudely - at my dr office that it is normal not to have a period when on the pill. Especially if you have been on it a long time (even though you were just pregnant). I was also told that a negative pregnancy test is pretty reliable. I just got frustrated with the whole situation and went off the pill. Got my period then.

I would think it is very possible with all the changes your body is going through you missed it.

Do you have a nurse line through your medical insurance that you could call & ask? You could also call & leave a message for you dr and see if he/she wants to see you.

Good luck!

If i don't receive a period by when should i call my doctor? I'm also not on any birth control and haven't been on any in like 2-3 weeks

if youre missing pills and taking them sporadically that will mess your periods up and it takes a while to get back on track.

Certain herbal teas can be very beneficial in pregnancy and may help to alleviate some of the symptoms of pregnancy. Many women find that small amounts of ginger tea can help with morning sickness, while peppermint tea can ease heartburn and indigestion.
