Ultrasound Scan showed there was a small spot on the heart and that the baby had a bright bowel.
Advised to see my midwife(5 days time) which i did today.

She explained that 3 markers or more would indicate a referral for another scan.

She said as there is not normally a routine ultrasound in the third trimester and these things rarely get detected so couldn’t say if its normal or not.

She is referring me to a consultant so im waiting for a letter though the post to confirm date and time.
My Midwife took measurements of my belly and said that i was normal size. Urine sample and Blood Pressure was ok too. Felt the baby and said it was ‘firm’ and told me thats a good sign as it means that the baby is getting blood and oxygen.

Anybody experienced anything similar to this?
