This is my third pregnancy and I'm only 4 weeks along, but already it feels way different than with my other two. I am tired ALL THE TIME and it always seems like I am constantly hungry. Could this be a sign of twins? Anyone else who has had twins have it like this so early? Twins do run in my family. And I've wanted twins since I was 12.

I was super-hungry all the time this time around before the morning sickness set in... now I'm hungry all the time again I think sometimes it's a sign of twins but often just pregnancy. Same with fatigue. Can you ask your doctor to order a scan for you?

Its NORMAL. I was hungry in my first trimester all the time. You have to eat more, you have a baby to feed also.

I had a twin pregnancy--all the symptoms were the same as my single child pregnancy. In fact, only 15% of mama's to twins reported that their symptoms in early pregnancy were any different or exaggerated/worse than with just one baby. It is probably just your symptoms but of course, you will find out very quickly when you have your ultrasound. Good luck.

the number one thing that every woman needs to remember.....every pregnancy is different! it doesn't matter if you have 10 kids, all 10 pregnancies could be completely different from one another. If you're hungry all the time, it might mean you're not getting enough in during one sitting. Or, it just might mean different cravings and such. I would go see your doctor however and have him check to see if it really is twins. good luck!

No, you can't tell your preg by how hungry you are. I was always hungry as a monster during my 1st & 2nd preg, all throughout the semesters. Weighed from 120 lbs on 1st semester to 175 lbs on the last semester and none of those pregnancies were twins.

I think it's just because you are pregnant. When I was pregnant, I ate everything I want. My doctor advised me to use "small but frequent feeding"method. It really helped. But as what you've said, twins run in your family. So better wait for your Ultrasound schedule. Best of luck!

You wont know until you have your ultrasound. I felt hungry like hell as well during my first trimester but I didn't had twins. I think its just normal to feel like that.

Symptoms of pregnancy varies every time. You can never tell it's twins till you get an ultrasound.

I don't think it necessarily means anything beyond that you are eating for 2 (maybe 3!). Wait for your ultrasound. Anything before that point will just be wild guesses.
