Hi Guys, I am in real desperate need for help here.

Im 24 years old and since i can remember i have always kept track of my period and have a almost perfect 26 day cycle, only on a few occasions has it been 27 or 28 at the latest. My last period began on august 30th, so naturally expexcted the next one between 25-27th september. it is now october the 3rd and im officially between 5 days late. I have taken numerous pregnancy tests since sunday and the all keep coming up negative. first response, clear blue you name it. ive gone for a blood test today, but i have to wait for the results. I have had light cramping, nausea and mild head aches for the past few days, i am also experiencing an odd light pinching in my uterus/ovaries area which i have never felt before. I was just wondering if it was possible for a HPT not to pick up a pregnancy this late? dont most people test positive the day of or after the period due date?

I would really appreciate some help :s

Most HPTs can accurately detect pregnancy one week after a missed period. Also, testing your urine first thing in the morning may boost the accuracy. If your stressed or eating poorly that may also effect your period.
