I am 38 weeks pregnant with my first child. I am currently only sleeping 2-3 hours at a time! Doesn’t matter if its during the day or at night! Anyone experienced anything similar?

I did sleep a bit longer than 2 to 3 hours at a time but I had serious problems with sleep during my second pregnancy. I'd fall asleep alright in the evening but wake up around 02h00 or 03h00 and didn't sleep the rest of the night....for about 7 out of the 8 1/2 months I was pregnant!

I can sleep, but it takes a while because I am so uncomfortable . I also get up every few hrs to go to the bathroom. I am also 38 weeks. Been like this for a month now!

toward the end of pregnancy your body starts trying to prepare you for what life will be like with baby on the outside. For some women it is worse than others but all it is is your hormones working to get you used to waking up that often to care for the new arrival.
