I know this is probably discussed a lot, but I just had a question about the ultrasound results. I had an ultrasound early in my pregnancy that put me around 7 weeks. Based on the due date they gave me at that time, I should be around 17 weeks right now. However, I just had an ultrasound today and she measured me at 18w4d! I guess the reason why this freaks me out is because I had two partners in July - one on July 3rd and the second on July 15. I know a paternity test will be the only sure way to know who the father is, but based on these results I'm so confused now. At first I was pretty sure that the father was guy #2 (the date of conception matched perfectly when I measured at 7 weeks) but now that the baby is measuring a week and a half later than I'm supposed to be, I'm all confused again. So, long story short - are early ultrasounds more accurate than later ones? Thanks for your help guys!!

I guess I should also add that I had another ultrasound about two weeks ago (Oct. 17) and that doctor put me at 14.5 weeks. All ultrasounds were taken with different doctors. I'm just all over the place! But thank you for taking the time to read this & for your help!

My doctor told me that the early ultrasounds are the best for determining how far along you are. I always had babies that measured bigger than the average but they didn't change the date from the original ultrasound. So if your doctor left your due date alone, they probably follow the same thing and go off the first ultrasound! Hope that makes sense.
