I am pregnant with my first child. Will be 12 weeks on tuesday! I really don't eat fruits and vegetables. I do take prenatal plus which i believe has 4000 IU of vitamin A i bought 11.5 oz cans of v8 juice low-sodium but it has 60% vitamin A. I feel like I would be getting too much Vitamin A if I drink this. Any advice?

I don't think it would do any harm at all to take V8 along with your prenatal.

Is it possible for you to make your own fruit/veggie smoothies or drinks?

Commercially made drinks like that are great, but even the low-sodium ones have a lot of salt and extra "stuff" in them.

It won't hurt to drink them and take your pre-natal though!
