My beta at 12-14 dpo was 6,209. I have PCOS and have been TTC since Dec 2011. This is my first BFP after one cycle on Clomid 50mg. The doctor is not rechecking my beta so I don't know what my doubling rate is. My biggest fear is that this is a molar pregnancy and I will have to wait another year to conceive. What betas have other people had with a molar pregnancy? Has anyone had multiples with a similar beta?

Did they do a baseline u/s before giving you the clomid? You might be much further along than you think. PCOS makes it tough to follow a normal cycle, and if you thought you had a period in December or early January, it could of been implantation or early pregnancy bleeding. You need an u/s, ASAP. Should be able to see a sac with a number like that, if this is the case. Even molars are not that high at this point.

A mom here had a similar beta and was doing medical assistance so she thought for sure she wasn't further along. Turns out she was! She also feared a molar pgy!

GL to you!!
