I'm 32 weeks pregnant today with b/g twins. For the last few weeks I have had horrible swelling in my lower extremities (4+ pitting edema actually) and here lately I've been noticing more Braxton Hicks contractions. Last night was probably the worst. I was up at 2am this morning with them and back pain, couldn't get comfortable for nothing. And since then they have been occurring, worsening when I walk. (I'm a nurse with an 8-5 job and walk a lot) Some of the contractions totally take my breath away and I have to stop what I'm doing til it passes... Last time I called my doc about them they said there's nothing really they can do unless they are rhythmic, which still they are not. But I am beyond miserable and would just like to know what you ladies think I should do. This is my first pregnancy and I don't want to look like an over-concerned person lol
