Hello all! Great to be here =) just had a quick question.... here's the back story:Sonogram at 11 weeks 6 days one great looking baby. This will be my 5th child. Youngest is 11 months.
Today (17 weeks 6 days) I go see my midwife to get checked out. The first thing she say is "whoa your big". So she checks my fundal height and doesn't say anything. Then I tell her that I feel huge so she decides to do a quick sono to check for twins. So while she's doing it, we find baby immediately and she looks to the left and says "well baby looks good." But it didn't seem like sure checked to the right or up. I say are you sure there's not 2? And she says "I don't think so but you'r getting me concerned" then she says "well I guess we'll know for sure at your level 2 sonogram". And I just looked at her..... I really didn't even know what to say to that...... I don't know but it looked like a lot of limbs in there... like I said this Is my 5th child. I have 4 singletons. Things definitely feel "different" this time around but could just be 5th baby syndrome lol. Does anyone else have a missed twin story? Thanks so much. My sono is in 1 week so I'll know for sure then.

If the 11wk sono only showed one, you more than likely only have one. having had alot of baby's will make you feel bigger and appear bigger as well.

That's what I thought too. ... then when she said "well I think there's only one but it's so hard to determine what's what with these things." So the fact that she is so uncertain, makes me uncertain! Either way though will be a blessing!
