Britanie made a poll about candy and I have to say the only thing that has helped me a little bit is mint candies, however other things with mint in them such as herbal teas and such also work. I was wondering how many of you have had luck with things that have mint in them. I've always felt it settles my stomach at least an hour after having it. Other then that I haven't found much that helps lately. Usually toast or crackers help in the morning but not even that is working now.

Mint tea helped me as well, but strangely chewing mint gum I couldn't do!

I usually love mint-flavored things, but over the past few months, the very thought of mint anything made me gag. It might have helped me if I could have gotten past the gag reflex, but I just couldn't.

Popping in from June 2006 PR.

I LOVE peppermint anything until I got PG with my DD 5 years ago. I was brushing my teeth with my regular mint toothpaste and threw up. I knew right then and there I was PG and I was only 2 weeks along. The preg test didn't even pick it up I was that early. LOL
So, I switched everything to cinnamon. LOL! With DS last year I used Ginger tea to help the morning sickness and it too worked like a charm.

Good luck ladies.
