How far away is the hospital or birth center where you will be delivering the baby?

well if I went to the local Hosp it would be about 3 minutes. But I really hate that hosp and refuse to deliver there, so I'm traveling across state lines to the next closest.

Are you driving yourself you crazy woman? I remember how awful those 1 or 2 contractions I had in the car with DH were... I can't imagine driving all that way!

Sounds scary to me! Did you take curbside breaks? How did you manage through the contractions?

It's about 5 minutes away. I love being so close, that means I can labor at home for a while

An hour... wow, Sara I cannot even imagine! When do you plan to leave for the hospital?

5 & 15 minutes don't sound so bad, especially after hearing 45 & 60 minutes from Ro & Sara! We are spoiled, ladies.

nope it's alwasy been 45 minutes across the country side. I just breath thorugh them and concentrate on the road, actually gives my mind something more important to do, so I don't really worry about how bad it hurts.
