WOW - A thread all about me! How exciting.....lol

About me -

35 years old and mum to 2 teens. My boy 16 and my girl 13. Each gain a year this year. As well as me but we will keep that between us girls.

Looking to be a mum again. I am going to be hopefully getting a Tubal Reversal as I had TL back in 1998. Pretty nervous about that.

Oh name - Call me D. Everyone does. Just with some variations, Mama D, Auntie D, when I am a grandma it will be Bubba D. So may as well stick with the theme. LOL

I type alot and am pretty opinionated. But in a good way I think as I always see all sides even if I don't agree.

Small business owner - Internet consulting firm specializing in Web/graphic design, marketing, etc. I am looking to branch out into more design and photography. Wedding announcements/invites, BIRTH announcements, memorial cards, etc. I also own a entertainment booking agency.

One thing I can say I am excited about then I finally do get the BFP, not finding out the sex. Is that retarded? With my other 2 I wanted to know so bad. Although I knew my daughter was a girl, I was told she was a boy. My son, I knew was a boy but they couldn't tell for sure. They guessed and were right. This time however, I want it to be a surprise.

I came to this board because I was invited{thank you} but also because having done this twice, I think I have some insight to help those here get ready for their new addition.

Hi D! I'm so glad that you stopped back by! With your experience, I bet you have a TON of insight to offer to us!

Good luck with your tubal reversal! When will you know if you can get it/when you will get it done? Keep us posted!

I have 3 teenage siblings - 15, 16 and 17... what a handful they can be!

Wow, looks like you have a lot on your plate! Good luck with branching out in your business!

I'm excited to be having a surprise this time around too. We did find out with our first, because DH really really wanted to, so I'm thrilled that's agreed to be on Team Green this time.

Thanks again for stopping by, and I hope you will jump right in!

Oh, I also wanted to say congratulations on your weight loss! I noticed your ticker and you are doing a great job!

My family Doctor sent the refferal to a new OBGYN and his office said that I could get an appointment around June for the consult, they will give me an actual appointment date in a another week or so.

I thought I was being smart by saving all the money I thought I would need to get this done first. Plus I want to save a little extra for time off work, even though I am the boss, I don't draw a salary unless I work. My thinking was if I went for the consult and found out my chances were good and then I had to wait for the money, I would go nuts. I had the money saved for Feb 1. and now I find out that it is going to take a long time to get in to see the doctor. So either way it is a wait.

I have been told that while the process to get seen intially is slow, the process speeds up after that. So I am hopeful that sometime in the summer I will have it done.

My OR report from my TL is being sent to my family doctor first and that is due to be in on March 15, so I will get a little more info at that time about my chances for a successful TR, which will make me feel a thousand times better. And thankfully it is easier to get in and see him.

I love the names you've choosen. I have already kind of picked the names as well {way early I know}but for a girl I was thinking Barbara Rose. So you have a great tase I see. LOL

I hope you get some good news soon! That does seem like a long time until you will be seen, but you know how specialists are... What are you going to do to distract yourself until then?

Thank you, it's my grandmother's name too
