When did you last hold a newborn? Whose baby was it?

Has your DH/SO ever held a newborn?

My sister just had a baby in October, so hubby and I got a bit of experience with handling a newborn. Before that, neither of us had ever held a baby

One of my friends had a baby in February, and we were able to visit her last night and hold the baby! I miss those newborn days!

Before we had DS, I don't think DH had ever held a newborn for longer than 5 seconds. He is VERY intimidated by newborns!

I don't blame him! I'm more nervous around babies than my husband is

DH's main problem is that he's not a small guy He's 6'2" and most kids are just terrified of him - so he was worried that our kids would be too.

Here's a pic of him holding our son when he was a newborn:

My niece was born last July and a friend had her baby in September. I haven't been around a newborn since then.

Wow Joanna, he looks super-comfy with that baby

I honestly don't know when I last held a newborn, maybe our twins 18 months ago? This will be our 4th nb, so dh and I are VERY comfortable now

He says he's more comfortable now, but I saw him holding our friend's baby...

I'm so excited and August seems so far away today!
