Which do you think you'll do?

Will you rent a pump, or buy one?

what kind of bottles do you plan to use?

HOw long will you nurse?

Do you plan to nurse then bottle feed?

We are extended breastfeeders I bought a pump with DS, and we'll use the same one but probably replace the tubing. We have some emergency or babysitting bottles, but the baby might not even take them and we don't leave often.

I'll be breastfeeding. I do want to get a pump, so after we get BFing well established hopefully we can do some of the feedings with a bottle so hubby can be involved with that I'm not sure how long I want to nurse, we'll just see how things are going, but I at least want to go 6 months.

With Dalton, I worked when he was 2 months - 6 months, so we did pump and had to supplement with formula while he was at day care. This time, DH wants to make sure I pump because he wants to be able to help take care of night feedings. I'm excited since he never expressed an interest last time in helping at night!

by bottle I'm assuming you don't mean breast milk from a bottle, but formula. and yes I'll have so she can take formula as well, because then if I run out of BM at daycare they can give her formula till I get off work. as an emergency situation.

I had a hard time with supply issues when I was working & pumping, so we supplemeted when he was at daycare. I asked the sitter to do a half formula/half milk bottle, but who knows if that was actually done, kwim?

I know they will. well they'll use my milk. they even have a seperate freezer for 'human milk' and have each babies cubble labeled with that they get (human milk, center formula, or home formula) and if they can suppliment with center formula if human milk runs out.
