I knew I wanted to use dragonflies as the theme pretty much right away. Around the time I got pregnant I had been thinking about doing a dragonfly themed bathroom, so maybe I was just too lazy to come up with a new idea The main colors were easy, green for a boy because I don't like blue, or purple for a girl because I love purple! I was also going to do green when I thought I wouldn't be finding out the sex because it's an awesome neutral color.
It would have been much easier to just coordinate around a bedding set or something though, because I'm going to end up with a mishmash of stuff that doesn't quite go together/match. I'm mostly focusing on colors for the actual baby stuff, and I'll be putting up some dragonfly wall art
For my current 2, I picked a color and went from there.
For this one, I am not doing a nursery because he/she will be with me in my room. And since I will not be finding out the sex and I have a tan and chocolate brown in my room with medium oak furniture I will be able to match pretty well for the baby's side of the room while waiting for the delivery to find out the sex and had the proper color touches.
That is the plan at least, but I never stick with them. LOL
