I was just oging to register at one place, but my friend got on my case about wanting to be able to go into a store and pick something out.

So I registered with amazon (they had the best prices plus my out of town friends can easily order things), and babys r us (for those who want to go instore).

similar... I did Amazon only, then got razzed because not everyone likes online shopping, so I did Target.

I made a registry at Target for if we have a girl. There are a few things that I would like this time around, but we pretty much have everything that we need. Our big purchases will be a new carseat and possibly a pack 'n' play if I can convince DH on that one

I was going to just do Target and BRU, but recently I added Amazon too. I feel so greedy

I started playing around with an Amazon registry today... mostly because it's so much fun to shop!

Really you dont have to tell anyone where you registered, most places give a discount coupon for things you dont get on your registry. so I dont really see any hard in registering at a lot of places (other than its a big pita).

I do it for the discount coupons! We probably won't share any registries we make this time, but if we have a girl we will definitely be scooping up discounts for girly clothes.

yes I learned that amazon will give you a completion discount towards the end to apply for a percentage off to get the items that weren't bought, so I'm looking forward to that

See, so you don't need to worry about forking out the big bucks for those last few big items if you don't get them as gifts/garage sales!
