I don't think I have this time yet. I remember them well from the last one, but I can't remember when they started then either

Yes, they started a couple weeks ago really freaked me out at first! I was laying in bed and Nova was in some uncomfortable position that was causing some lower back pain and these sharp shooting pains in my hoo-ha, and suddenly I felt pressure and my belly tightened up. It happened 2 or 3 times and even though logically I knew they were unrelated to the pain it still made me worry. I had a hard time sleeping for the next couple nights because I kept feeling the BH and couldn't stop worrying about going into preterm labor

I get a few of them every night when I lay down (but they don't worry me anymore), and occasionally during the day if I don't drink enough water.

(Snagging the rose! )

So mine are probably coming soon In a way, I'm kinda excited about getting them because it means closer to baby time!

Mine started when I was 20 weeks! It was a really wierd feeling, I thought I was cramping up for 2 reasons:
1) The big O (I don't have much of a sex drive, so this doesn't happen much lol)
2) Laughing too hard

It actually really made me concerned at first. I had no idea about BH and I thought my baby was doing something funny. But then I started researching it and I am glad it is happening. Although, it is an interesting feeling, I don't know if I will ever get used to it. It does seem to happen at random times, and a lot more often, but I never see it coming!

Braxton Hicks can be sooo frustrating, because they can seem so convincingly like it's time to go... and an hour later they are gone

Is that what labor contractions feel like? I havn't read too much onto it, but if this is what contractions to be "ready to go" are like, I am totally prepared for this labor! (Eek, I am so scared of the pain)

Nope, but when it's your first time it's easy to think that they are! Also, some non-productive contractions can hurt worse than productive contractions. Not saying your BH will get that bad later on, but it is possible.
