What would the perfect birth look like for you?

Okay, well Ive never had a baby.. lol BUT

this is how I imagine the perfect birth to be:

The doctor gives us a certain day to come in, we do.. He induces labor and then pop.. the baby is out about 2 seconds later.. lol

Now I know what you're thinking.. Im living in some dream/fantasy world and thats not how it ever works out!! lol but a girl can dream :-P lol

I'm hoping I will be able to get pretty close! My perfect birth would be intervention-free, drug-free, just me doing my thing. Dim room, very quiet (as in other people talking/making noise), possibly music in the background if I want it. I want to deliver in water. And of course the most important part, my perfect birth would end with a healthy baby and a healthy me!

I'd actually really love a home birth, but not at the house I'm living in now x) I'm not really sure why, maybe because the house isn't really arranged to be convenient for labor. I'd have to stay upstairs to be able to access the bathroom, but I'd want the pool/tub downstairs. Plus we're not planning on staying here very long, so, idk it's like I don't really care about having such an important event and memory attached to this place. Maybe our next house, with our next baby, especially since I'll have experience by then

My perfect labor is drug- and intervention-free. I'd go into early labor, bake some cookies and goodies for the nurses, midwife and family waiting with us, and then as labor progresses, go into the birth center and enjoy a calm and quiet birth. I appreciate having the option of water, but I know well how it's possible to not want a specific comfort measure during childbirth, even if you planned to have it.
