Maureen, baby is due in less than 2 months (July 8th is fast approaching)...
New and exciting with baby is that she is slowly starting to run out of space. I can tell she is not flipping around nearly as much and her stretching out is becoming more uncomfortable (Who doesnt love a foot in the ribs!).
On tap for the rest of May = rest of our baby classes (infant care, breastfeeding and 3 more weeks of lamaze) and we are going to finish the nursery
I'm here! I can't believe I only have 9 weeks until my due date And like yesterday it was only 10 weeks! I don't know how time goes so fast. When I read "May is already half over" I was like "No way, May just started!"
I can tell Nova is getting big She doesn't change positions as much anymore and her body is more or less stationary (head-down, yay!), so she makes up for it by kicking and punching a lot x)
No real plans for the rest of the month though. We went on a hospital tour (and now I'm not sure about delivering there ), finally got that car seat I've been wanting, so now it's kind of just wait until the baby shower... which is still at some vague time next month and it's starting to make me worried it might not actually happen :/ Well, I know my grandma isn't going to flake on it or anything, but I can't wait forever to get my baby stuff!
Update on me - we are almost to the third trimester... our GTT is on Friday. Baby is getting bigger, but not running out of room yet - thank goodness. Like with Dalton, I'm carrying this one way out front, so I get a lot of - oh you must be almost done! And when I answer to the negative - wow, you must be having twins!
We went to our birth center orientation last Thursday. It was NOT all that we expected. The birth center is great, we already know and like the nurse (she worked in the hospital when Dalton was born), but the information in the orientation was not all put together and was not what we were told it would be. I feel like I need to mention it to the midwives because if I didn't already know what I wanted to do, that would not have persuaded me that they knew what they were doing at the birth center, kwim?
Next up on our list - we need to figure out when we are going to do our Bradley refresher class. I'm going to be garage saling for the bassinet and possibly a new pack 'n play because I have one of the super old models that is harder to assemble. That's pretty much it for this month or so.
