Do you wear glasses or contacts? Yes, I have very, very, very bad vision Are you planning to have backup vision correction for labor and delivery? Absolutely Will you be able to wear contacts during labor and delivery? I was able last time. I'll fight tooth and nail on that one. Glasses can be annoying sometimes and I can't see my hand in front of my face without them/contacts.
This is an interesting question that I havn't even thought of! Yes, I will most certianly be wearing my contacts during L&D. I will probably bring back up glasses, but the chance of them falling out is rare... I havn't had my contacts fall out before. I will make sure to put a brand new set of contacts in for that day lol. I am pretty much blind without my contacts/glasses, in fact I feel really sick my vision is so blurry. So it is a def must have!
Do you wear glasses or contacts? yes
Are you planning to have backup vision correction for labor and delivery?nope
Will you be able to wear contacts during labor and delivery? yep! and I plan on it too. with L I went without glasses since it was over night, (no contacts Imean but didn't wear my glasses either. with c i had in my contacts the whole time and I'll do that again. I have new ones that I can sleep in so I'll leave them in even if it is over night
You ladies planning on wearing contacts better make sure you check with your providers and the hospital policies! Sometimes your doctor has to write a note that you are allowed to wear them.
I wear glasses - I haven't been able to wear contacts since I was pregnant with Dalton. It's weird. I can't see at all without them. I think Tim took them off of me during labor with Dalton, but I don't remember. I know I had them on right after. I think he took them off when I was pushing because I remember my midwife saying she forgot to bring the mirror and I told her I couldn't anything anyway
