I actually feel pretty ready for baby. We have gotten all the big things I think we need. But people at work want to throw me a baby shower and keep asking what I still need. Please look over the list below and provide any feedback on things I might have forgotten to get.
her crib mattress/crib
enough clothing for 0-6 months/plenty of bibs/burp cloths
coming home outfit
bed side rocker
first aid supplies
cuople baby toys
tummy time mat
car seat with base and stroller
winter cover for the car seat
boppy with covers
some bottles/nipples/a few pacifiers
swaddling blankets/regular blankets
What am I missing?
Things I know I still need: monitor for baby's room, baby gates, a few little things for the nursery, some safety supplies, baby swing (his mom is buying us one)
breastfeeding supplies (been waiting for that until I see how breastfeeding goes - dont want to invest in a $300 pump only to find out I have no milk supply)
You could do a baby bathtub or a beside the tub kneeler. Tub toys. Extra carseat base. Books, bookshelf. That kinda stuff. Now you're looking at more what would be awesome instead of what you absolutely need.

6 + months size clothes, socks, more diapers/wipes (seriously you can't gro wrong there, even if it's bigger sizes), burp clothes, hooded twoels and wash cloths(I use the baby was cloths for so much more) more toys and such.
other wise just say you have most everything but a diaper/wipes shower would be awesome.
Thats what I mention anytime someone asks me. I do feel weird about my coworkers giving me anything but I am just gonna accept it (I always contribute to anyone's promotion/going away/getting married/having a baby/got really sick cards). I also told my coworker (and I think this idea went over well) that she could just use some money and bring us dinner one night after we get home from the hospital. I think that would be super cool (and super helpful since bf cant cook to save his life).
