Will you have a Meet the Baby party?
What will you do for the party (food, decor, etc)?
How soon after baby is born will the party be?

I'm thinking yeah. I had a combo baby shower/birthday party for me and L, so I'm thinking it would be perfect to have a meet the baby/birthday part for C, or even a meet the baby/birthday party for C/baptisim party for Bob. hows that for a combo.

I had 2 with L, 1 for imeediate family (thought they had all been to the hosp) the week she was born, and then 1 for extended family when she was like 6 weeks old

We are going to have 3 because our family is gigantic. I just don't know yet WHEN we will do it. I'm not a big fan of taking babies around sick people, and a lot of our family are big fans of going to get togethers sick. So I'll wait as long as Tim will let me.

I dont think we are having one. I was thrown 2 baby showers. After we get hmoe, I plan to stagger all visitors so that its as few people around her at a time as possible.

We didn't have one with Dalton, but this time we had no baby showers, so we're just gonna do a big ol' cookout.

Sort of, maybe. It depends on when she gets here. My in-laws are coming to visit the day before she's due and staying for a week... so if I have her before they get here, I'll be sticking to my original plan of no visitors at the hospital, and we'll have the party while the in-laws are here since they and my family have never met. But if she comes while they're here, since they're staying with us I'd feel weird telling them they can't come to the hospital with us, and if they get to be at the hospital I'd have to let my family be there too... So if it happens that way we won't bother having a party since everyone will have already met her.

So I'm hoping she comes a little bit early!

Oh, and no decor or anything, just people coming over. I guess probably also food... my MIL can take care of that

I'm not doing one unless somebody is having a post-baby shower for me, I'm not exposing him to everyone and all their germs, since everybody brings their sick kids to everything out here
