Make some cloth wipes! That's about it. Well, and open my Amazon package when it gets here, which will contain the last few things I need for the baby. Once I have those things done, I will be ready for her arrival!

So how did everyone do with these goals? Did everything get done?

Mana, are you ready?

I washed my diaper bag and bought a can of powder formula yesterday, two goals that didn't make this list--today is wash carseat cover and lower straps

I did get the rest of my baby stuff in the mail, so I am good to go! (Well, except for getting the car seat base installed, but that's on this week's list!)

The wipes have been put on hold though. I was going to borrow my sister's sewing machine, but she couldn't get it to work So I went and got some disposable wipes for now, and I might just order some already-made cloth wipes. Or maybe I'll finally get my own sewing machine!

For cloth wipes you can just do one layer of flannel too. You don't HAVE to have two layers... Are you planning on using flannel?

Oh - another option is to go to the Dollar Tree and get their baby washcloths. They come in like a 4 pack, I think, and they are the softest little microfiber wash cloths... love them!

Yeah, I have some flannel, but the edges look like they're fraying, so even for a single layer wipe I'd want to at least hem the edges. I also have a couple old beach towels I thought might work too, so I might still just cut those up and use them even though they'll fall apart eventually.

I'll have to look for those washcloths at Dollar Tree next time I'm there! I do have some baby washcloths I was planning on using as wipes, but only like 6-8 of them so I figured they wouldn't be enough to get through a day.

You can do a zigzag on the flannel and the terry both - make it a little tighter on the terry - to help them last longer. If you have a serger, obviously that's easier, but for those of us without a simple zigzag works!

I just love the ones from the Dollar Tree!

I have to get my invites printed for my shower invites and get those sent out ASAP. I have the envelopes ready just need to stuff them. I also need to make sure that my registries are 100% final, everytime I say that I change something.

I went to Dollar Tree over the weekend, and they didn't have any washcloths Not much baby stuff at all actually, just a few big 12-18mo onesies and some toiletries.
