What's left on your list to-do? When do you plan to be completely done getting ready?

I dont think I will ever be completely ready!

I am going to buy a curtain rod and ask the guys at home depot how to hang a curtain. I am tired of bf not doing it. Other than that, and just cleaning, I think we are "ready".

That's how I end up doing a lot of stuff LOL - I'm tired of waiting so I learn how myself. Good luck, it's easy! When I did my curtains (replacing a houseful of miniblinds with curtains), I started doing them myself and Tim saw and after I did like 2 rooms helped

My goal is to be mostly ready by 37 weeks, so July 31st.

I have yet to do:
- Buy bassinet/travel crib/cosleeper (ok, first I might want to decide which one...)
- Buy 1-3 dozen more diapers (can get by with 1, would prefer 2 or 3)
- Pack baby's birth center bag
- Pack my birth center bag
- Pack the water-broke-away-from-home bag for the van
- Finish baby's blanket (still need to topstitch)

It just occurred to me that I'll be 37 weeks on July 31st. I was thinking I had more time than that!

The rest of it can fit in where it does.

Mostly just laundry. We have some piles laying around that I would like to tackle now so they're not bothering me once Nova is here, but it's not really necessary so I'm slacking on it. Also a bit of cleaning would be good, but that's more to get ready for the visiting in-laws than for the baby.

Oh, and get the car seat base installed correctly in the car! I keep forgetting about it because it's still in the car, it's just not secure enough in the center seat so we need to move it over.

I totally understand what you're saying about the coming home outfit... just this past weekend I bought a onsie and decided that might be the one It has a monkey on it and in orange says "Introducing Me". Luckily for me, all the outfits I have picked match the receiving blanket I've yet to finish

Don't worry about your crib... I've yet to get one too Well, we have a crib, but I need a new bassinet. Tim put the old one out in the garage and a family of mice moved in

I'm definitely having Tim shampoo the carpets this week while he's off work! Of course I have to teach him how to do it first, but...

The nursery is complete but i still need to do a last-min trip to tesco for nappies, a few more muslins and maybe another fitted sheet for the moses basket. I want to get all the laundry sorted so there is no backlog, stock up on pet food, loo roll, bread and milk, and clean out the chinchillas - oh and pay the fricking sky bill as its just been cut off...AGAIN. I cant be expected to remember everything!
