Hello mommies! I am due any day now!!!!!!!! Well I have a question. Since being pregnant I have gained 43 pounds before pregnancy I weighed 101lbs. My question is if I breast feed will all of my weight go away? I'm not being selfish I want to breast feed for at least for the six weeks but at 101lbs I looked as if I was about to fly away because I was so thin. I can tell that I've gained weight in my hips and thighs area. So I guess my question is....... Have you other ladies kept your extra hips and boobs while breast feeding?

Wish I could help, but I never lost all of my weight while breastfeeding. But then again BF wasn't easy for me and I never made it all the way to 6 months.

I breastfeed my 2 kids and I did lose some of my weight but I didn't gain much with either pregnancy. I was told that breatfeeding can help you lose the weight because I can honestly say I was always hungry because breastfeeding takes a lot of out of you.

I lost the weight fairly quickly while breastfeeding, but everyone is different. I would focus on your baby and get good breastfeeding established, then work on your body down the road.
