Right now I have three drawers full of stuff I have bought and it was all early--before I knew the sex. I am too nervous that two U/S were incorrect to buy any boy stuff. It would be really funny if it was another girl (thus the reason I am not getting rid of any more of Ella's clothes!)
We're starting from scratch with this little girl. It's out first and the next youngest person in all our family is... me! So, there's not a lot of hand me down stuff. We haven't really bought much of anything for her (a couple of stuffed animals and some onesies) but my mom (who is insanely thrilled about her first grandchild) just sent us a big box full of clothes. We still have months to go, though, so we're slowly starting to build up a whole nursery. I keep getting spooked, though, because I had a miscarriage last time.
a couple things... a boppy and cover.. breast pump and bottles... a couple packs of onies.. 2 bibs... umm a baby bjorn... a blanket.. a hooded towel.. and 4 pacifiers... not very much NEEDED stuff... still need lots more!!
oh and i am using my cradle from when i was a baby... so that one is taken care of
We have everything we need, except clothes. We have enough for a few days, just simple stuff like gowns and onesies, all neutral, just in case it does turn out to be a boy! Besides, I know that once the baby comes and everyone knows for sure what sex the baby is, the grandparents are going to go out and buy clothes for it, so I am not too worried about it!
