I am having pretty bad pain in my right calf. The back of it, and I am noticing tiny blue spider veins appearing in the exact same spot thr pain is coming from. I know new veins appearing on your legs during pregnancy is normal. But is it painful?? I must be the worlds biggest anxiety case/hypochondriac because now I'm worried it's a blood clot or something? I plan on calling my dr office in the AM but I really wanted to avoid calling l&d tonight over it. So any BTDT moms go thru this? Or are any of you currently? I'm just really freaked out and had my so rub it and it was way too painful to have him rub even?! Please ...advice!!

I don't think you're being a hypochondriac, I think I would call for that. It doesn't sound uncommon and I think pregnancy forces alot of stress on your vascular system. I think even with spider veins, leg pain is a symptom. If it is just the spider veins, Motherhood sells pregnancy support hose that are supposed to help with that.
