6pm
Called L&D to see if they had our room available... And was told they would call us as soon as one was available.

3:30am
The L&D nurse finally called to let us know that they had a room ready for the induction and to head up to the hospital.
5:15am
OB came in and gave me my first dose of Cytotec (they were planning on just doing Cervadil, but since the induction was supposed to begin between 6pm-12am on the previous night they decided the Cytotec would be much more effective).
7:30am
OB came back to let me know that my Liver tests had come back, and all my levels were elevated, along with the blood pressure issues. So they immediately started me on the Magnesium Sulfate, which made me extremely groggy and tired. At this point, I was dilated 1 1/2 cm and 50% effaced. And contractions were 2-3 minutes apart.
12:00pm
I received a second dose of the Cytotec, and the nurse told me to expect a terribly long labor. So they went ahead and broke my water. At this point, my OB saw that there was meconium in my fluid (which is common with babies when the mother is having liver function issues). So she then told me that we would have a special NICU team in the room with us for when I delivered, so they could make sure that all the fluid was taken care, if she had swallowed any.
3:30pm
I finally received the epidural after starting to feel stronger contractions...
5:00pm
OB came back to check me, and I had dilated to 5cm and 100% effaced! She told me to expect to dilate a centimeter an hour from here on out.
6:30pm
I had started to feel some serious pressure and called for the nurse, because I knew it was close to time to push. She came in and checked me and couldn't believe but I was dilated 10cm and 100% effaced! So she ran to call my doctor to have her come and check me, and I was right. It was time.
The doctor told me to try and give it another 30 minutes to "labor down", to just let the baby proceed as far as she could into my pelvis, so there would be less pushing involved, since she was making her own progress!
7:00pm
We started pushing and with 3-4 sets of pushes (3 sets in each), Miss Addison Kate was born at 7:36pm. She was immediately taken to the NICU team standing by, and I wasn't able to hold/see her. After about 10 minutes of them working on her and cleaning her up, I was able to finally see my baby girl!
