I had one lady make a comment on how many kids I have and how her one child is just terrible. She was going on and on in front of her kid too! I felt really bad for the kid, it was really embarrassing. I simply said "I think the reason my kids are well behaved is we don't bicker and *itch in front of them. Can you imagine parents that stupid?" It took her a minute but the look on the kids face was worth it.

Someone told me if I get asked if we were trying for a boy, to tell them no we're trying for a redhead.

I just need a running list of comebacks so I can quickly pick one and use it I'm sick and tired of just nodding.

LOL!!!! Well I usually get the "Are all those yours?"
"Are you trying for a boy?"
"Your poor husband."
"Another girl?"
"Think of all those weddings!"
"You better start saving for college now."
"Are you done now?"

They are all number of children related and gender related.

Of course, I also get the "Cloth diapering? I can't believe you do that!"
Or other things about co-sleeping/breastfeeding/etc. But, haven't gotten those lately since Natalie is 2. But, I'm sure they'll start up again when this baby is born... and I can't wait to get the "you're giving birth at home??" comments.

But, I'm sick of smiling and nodding through it all.

"Cloth diapering? I can't believe you do that!" I can't believe you are trashing your child's world with disposable.

Can't help you with the home birth one though. As for the breastfeeding one,
I can't believe you spend over $3000 a year on formula! (I think that's the amount, can't remember how many bottles per can of formula)

I get them all the time.. I just blow them off.. My favorite was from Walker's pre-k teacher.. She would use the term.. Walker is just being Walker.. Ummm well I hope so... I wouldn't want him trying to be anyone else.. I kinda love my little boy. lol
