Get rude comments or questions? Wanna real quick and slightly embarrassing comeback? Post them here and I'll try and help you out. I answered the following for WishingStar (Talia)

"Are all those yours?" Nope, but UPS keeps leaving them on the door step.
"Are you trying for a boy?" Nope, we're trying for puppies this time!
"Your poor husband." Which one? or Oh, they aren't his, they are my lovers.
"Another girl?" Since when can you pick?
"Think of all those weddings!" We're building a mail order bride website when they turn 18.
"You better start saving for college now." I heard stripping was a great way to pay for college!
"Are you done now?" You mean there's something that causes this?
"Cloth diapering? I can't believe you do that!" I can't believe you are trashing your child's world with disposable.

Can't help you with the home birth one though. As for the breastfeeding one,
I can't believe you spend over $3000 a year on formula! (I think that's the amount, can't remember how many bottles per can of formula)

Those were her questions! If you use disposable diapers or formula, this topic is not for debate! I do have answers for people who bug you about using disposables and formula!

Let me have them ladies!

"Don't you know what causes babies yet?" Yes I do, and obviously I enjoy it

(that's the main snarky comment I get so thats the only one I can think to share)

((oh and that's supposed to be said as if you don't think that person does enjoy it))

LOL!!! My dh gets that comment at work (You do know what causes this, don't you?) He told me he told them "Yeah, the water. I told her not to drink it."
Now, why can't I come up with that at the spur of the moment

I'm sure you didn't really want twins. Think of the hard work! (A week after my twin loss)
You don't want Sophie to be an only child, do you? They're awful!
You want to homeschool? Don't you know those kids turn out all weird?
You don't stay pregnant too well, do you? (a doctor said this! -- I've had 7 miscarriages)
Reflux is just a fancy word for bad parents.

It feels good to get those off my chest!

I can't come up with one for this hun. You need to tell them to support you and NOT support a death.
You don't want Sophie to be an only child, do you? They're awful!
Well your not a very nice person!
You want to homeschool? Don't you know those kids turn out all weird?
Tell them about the weird kid at your school.

You don't stay pregnant too well, do you? (a doctor said this! -- I've had 7 miscarriages) You don't keep your mouth shut too well do you?
Reflux is just a fancy word for bad parents. Then you pay for the meds and the expensive formula!

(I think I'm off my game today!)

This thread was posted in my DDC, so I'm not a regular on this board, but I wanted to add my favorite line (that I used):

"You know what causes that right?" Yeah, but when we installed the water filter, I thought it would help.

For 2Cats8Paws:
I'm sure you didn't really want twins. Think of the hard work! (A week after my twin loss)
Your mother probably didn't want you either, but we don't always get our way.

You don't want Sophie to be an only child, do you? They're awful!
I'm sorry you grew up without siblings. How sad for you.
Or, more obvious about the insult: So you're parents should have had more, then?

You want to homeschool? Don't you know those kids turn out all weird?
Better weird than ____. Insert something in the blank - criminals, pregnant, whatever you'd like.

Reflux is just a fancy word for bad parents.
So what's a fancy word for oral diarrhea?
Or Know any fancy words for idiot? (idiot here is interchangeable with any insult that you'd prefer to use)

For MommytoOlivia+Josiah, even though she posted forever ago:
Are you SURE there's only one in there? You're HUGE!!!!
At least I have an excuse.

I think I'm done now.

"You know what causes that right?"
Yeah our tv broke wasn't much else to do

and heres one I used when I was pregnant with my 1st child.

You look too young to have a child didn't they teach you birth control when you were in school

Hmm must of been out that day

When are you gonna have another one?

Well, first we want to save up enough money to buy a summer house by the river. Then I figure I'll want a Cadillac to go with the house. Oh and a boat, of course. Maybe a couple of jet-skis. Oh, and don't forget the full-time nanny. Until then we just can't afford another child.

OR

When are you gonna have another one?
We're looking into surrogacy. Interested?
